Angel Reese Signs Multi-Year Deal with Reebok

Reebok is proud to announce the extension of our partnership with WNBA star Angel Reese, solidifying her place as one of the most exciting faces in the future of basketball — and footwear.

The 22-year-old Chicago Sky forward has officially signed a multi-year contract extension with Reebok, with plans underway for her first-ever signature basketball shoe, set to launch in 2026. This makes Reese only the second WNBA athlete to receive a signature sneaker with the brand, marking a significant milestone in both her career and in the evolution of Reebok Basketball.

A Signature Dream in Motion

In a special episode of her podcast Unapologetically Angel, Reese sat down with her mentor and Reebok Basketball President Shaquille O’Neal to unveil the news.

“I’m extremely excited to let you guys know that we are officially coming out with a Reebok by Angel signature shoe!” Reese shared. “We’ve already started the design process, and it means the world to have Reebok’s full support. A signature shoe has always been a dream of mine — and I want every young girl out there to know that anything is possible.”

Built from the Beginning

Reebok’s journey with Reese began before her WNBA debut, when she became the first-ever major NIL signing for the brand in 2023 during her standout final season at LSU. It was also the first signing under Shaquille O’Neal’s leadership.

In August 2024, Reebok launched the debut Reebok by Angel collection — a bold fusion of her signature style, athletic edge, and unapologetic personality. That same month, she premiered the Reebok Engine A, our first new performance basketball silhouette in over a decade, in a highly anticipated matchup against Indiana’s Caitlin Clark. The Engine A is slated to release globally in Spring 2025.

The Future of Reebok Basketball

Reese’s signing is part of a growing movement within Reebok Basketball, joining a new generation of talent that includes Nate Ament, Dink Pate, Matas Buzelis, and Lexie Brown — all building the foundation of a bold new era for the brand.

“Reebok and Angel are growing together every day,” said Reebok Head of Basketball Jide Osifeso. “Our visions for the future are aligned, and we’re excited to build her first signature shoe from the ground up.”

With her standout rookie season stats — averaging 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds per game — and her ever-growing influence on and off the court, Angel Reese is just getting started.
